Once considered music of the countryside, it has evolved into a global genre known for its romantic and emotional sound. Popular artists like Anthony Santos “El Mayimbe” Frank Reyes, Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, Aventura, Prince Royce, Héctor Acosta and many more have helped bring bachata to worldwide popularity.”
